United States

The United States and Israel launched coordinated attacks against Iran. Israel said that it had targeted numerous senior Iranian leaders. Additionally Irans supreme leader Ali Khameneis compound was targeted in the strikes. This attack follows negotiations between Iran and the United States over Irans nuclear program.

Asia

A former U.S. Air Force officer was arrested in the U.S. on charges for training Chinese fighter pilots how to fly in combat operations. The former pilot Gerald Brown Jr., reportedly began negotiating contract terms around August 2023 with China. Brown returned from China in early February 2026.

Europe

British Police arrested Pete Mandelson, former U.K. Ambassador to the U.S. He was arrested due to allegations he passed confidential government information to Jeffrey Epstein when he served in the U.K. government. After the true extent of Mandelsons relationship with Epstein was revealed, British Prime Minister Keir Starnes fired him from the ambassador position.

Americas

Following an oil blockade on Cuba, the Trump administration has begun to allow U.S. companies to send oil to private businesses in Cuba. After President Trump cut of oil, the nation almost immediately entered an energy crisis. This latest development will allow small businesses, such as food markets, to be able to operate while not giving the Cuban government access to oil.

Africa

15 South Africans have returned home from Russia after they were coxed into fighting for Russia in Ukraine. President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa reportedly, during discussions with Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, asked him to allow the men to return home. Russia has reportedly attempted to lure men from other African nations to fight in Ukraine.

Middle East

Air raid alarms sounded across Israel on Saturday as the Iranian military launched numerous missiles and drones. Additionally, Israel launched numerous waves of strikes targeting Ballistic missile launchers in Iran. Additionally Israel claimed that senior leaders were killed in the strikes however Iran denied those claims.
