  • President Trump said he would move to fire the head of America's Bureau of Labor Statistics, Erika McEntarfer, following the publication of disappointing job data. President Trump said the data was manipulated, however it should be noted that President Trump has failed to publish any evidence to support this claim.

  • Two nuclear submarines are on their way to strategic positions, President Trump announced. This move comes following statements that were made by Russia's former president and current deputy chair of the security council which threatened the U.S.

  • President Trump revealed new tariffs on 60 countries that are set to go into effect on August 7th. Countries that will be affected include Canada, India, and Taiwan. 

  • Azerbaijan has begun exporting natural gas to Syria which the country is in great need of. The natural gas will be used to restart power plants that have been out of operation following the civil war that took place in the country. 

  • According to Reuters, a news agency, government sources from India have said they will continue to buy Russian Oil. This move comes following comments by President Trump in recent days criticizing the Indian policy on Russian Oil.

  • Thailand returned two wounded Cambodian soldiers to Cambodia following the short fight between the two countries last month. 

  • Israeli forces opened fire on two different aid distribution sites which resulted in the killing of around 10 people. 

  • Overnight Ukrainian drone strikes in Russia resulted in the death of three people, Russian Officials said. 

  • Protesters gathered in Tel-Aviv to protest for the release of the hostages following the release of images by Hamaz which depicts the hostages to be close to starving. 

  • Hamas announced that it would not lay down its weapons and disband unless there was the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian State. This goes against what Israeli officials have said. Israeli officials said they would have to have some level of control over the sovereignty of a future Palestinian State.
